The Rockefeller Archaeological Museum

The Rockefeller Archaeological Museum, situated in a magnificent white limestone edifice in East Jerusalem, houses the extraordinary collection of antiquities unearthed in excavations conducted in the country mainly during the time of the British Mandate (1919-1948). The Museum was opened in 1938.

Transportation and Parking

Buses 1 and 2

The parking lot is open on Saturdays. On other days, park in one of the nearby public lots.

Special Shuttle Bus and Guided Tour
Every Monday and Wednesday, a shuttlebus takes visitors from the main Israel Museum campus to the Rockefeller Museum for a guided tour of the beautiful building and its collections.
Transportation provided.
Included with the price of admission to the Museum.
Parallel tours in English and Hebrew.
Leaves Israel Museum parking lot at 11:00 am; returns at 1:30 pm.
Tour from 11:30-1:00.
