An archaeological tell model has been built in the Youth Wing Activity Yard. A tell is a man-made mound formed by layers of settlement, established one upon another and culture upon culture. The Youth Wing's tell model represents 10,000 years and five important periods in the history of the Land of Israel.
Trying their hand at digging, discovery, sorting, reconstruction, and restoration, visitors learn about archaeological endeavor and follow the arduous path of the artifact from discovery to display, Under the guidance of an archaeologist, they will examine authentic and reconstructed archaeological finds.
