Tips for searching the Library

We have nearly completed computerizing the Library catalogue and the online catalogue is updated daily. We suggest that you complete your search in the manual catalogue.

A number of search options are available in the Library catalogue. You may opt to conduct a basic or advanced search.

A variety of search fields are available. One may search for an artist by subject matter or the artist's last name.

All search subjects appear in the catalogue in English as well as Hebrew, except for the last names of Israeli artists, which appear only in Hebrew.

The Museum Library is a reference and study library. Books and materials may not be removed from the Museum. Books and materials may be taken to the Study Room near the Library Entrance upon deposit of an Israeli identity card (teudat zehut).

Scanning and copying facilities

Scanning and copying machines are available in the Library. The copying room closes about 15 minutes before the Library.
